Noela Prasad is clinical and public health professional who currently works for the Fred Hollows Foundation. Noela’s role supports the design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of health system strengthening projects and programs delivered by in-country partners.
With experience in ophthalmology, public health and health research, Noela spent her first years as a doctor at remote Leprosy Mission hospitals in India, developed National Plans for eye health and did a stint evaluating Vision2020 programs in South East Asia leading to a roadmap for elimination of avoidable blindness.
Current areas of work include improvement in quality of care and evidence-based policy and planning of health programs, particularly through comprehensive eye care.
