Judy Slatyer leads Australian Red Cross to improve the lives of vulnerable people through mobilising the power of humanity. Judy joined Red Cross in early 2016 after seven years in Switzerland at the World Wide Fund for Nature where she was the Global Chief Operating Officer. Before that she was CEO of Lonely Planet for six years and prior to that at Telstra.Judy has worked in the Australian government across a number of portfolios including transport and communications, finance, and social security. She has also worked with a Silicon Valley start-up on their Australian launch. She has an MBA and a Bachelor of Arts and has studied at the Stanford Graduate School of Business
