Programming Coordinator (Vic) – Out for Australia
Tori has a strong interest in LGBTIQ advocacy, mental health and health equity. She brings with her an extensive background in volunteer organisations and currently works with Out for Australia, a charity that aims to empower young LGBTIQ professionals to achieve their potential, and is Chair of the Australian Medical Students’ Association. She is a final year medical student working as a junior doctor at The Alfred in 2017.
Tori advocates for diversity in the health profession, and the importance of having LGBTIQ individuals in the health workforce for the betterment of patients. She is proud to speak openly regarding sexuality and gender diversity in a sector historically renowned for its narrow-mindedness, and hopes to help enact broader cultural change.
