Deputy Director, RhEACH
Rosemary Wyber has a diverse and intensely interesting background in public health. Having graduated and worked as a GP in New Zealand, she went on to study at the Harvard School of Public Health and Duke University.
Her area of expertise, and subsequently where she has invested much of her time, is Rheumatic Heart Disease. She has worked on the disease as far abroad as the World Heart Foundation in Switzerland and at the Telethon Kids Institute in Perth. She has continued her work in her current role as the Deputy Director at RhEACH, an organisation that aims to identify, describe and disseminate solutions regarding the disease.
At this year’s forum, Rosemary will be taking part in the panel on technology and global health, discussing how we might use technological advances to better health equity in Australia and around the world.
