Linda Selvey is an Associate Professor at the University of Queensland’s School of Public Health. Her research interests are broad and include, climate change, sexual health, blood borne viruses, and antimicrobial resistance.
Linda’s background is diverse. She has been the Director of Communicable Diseases at Queensland Health, has headed up the Public Health department at Curtin University as well as several other related roles. In 2009 she took the reins of Greenpeace Australia Pacific as CEO, and spent two years guiding the organisation.
At #GIF17, Linda will be taking part in a panel discussion that seeks to further understanding on how to build resilient communities in order to reduce the impacts of climate change.
